About the Role

At Ontario Health | Santé Ontario, we are committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients. As a Data Integrity Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient data in our provincial Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Analyze and review patient data to ensure accuracy and consistency, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Record Linking and Merging: Manually link and merge patient records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and organizations to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to healthcare providers on the use of our EHR system and data quality tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and escalate complex data quality issues, working with stakeholders to resolve and prevent future occurrences.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a data management or health information role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
