Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to join our team at iA Financial Group. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the daily management of the team's workload, implementing process improvements, and coordinating team efforts to align with the organization's priorities and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Workload Management: Oversee the daily management of the team's workload, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).
  2. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity within the team, utilizing process improvement methodologies.
  3. Team Coaching and Development: Coach and develop team members, fostering open communication and encouraging team participation in changes and training.
  4. Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations for team members, monitor performance metrics, and provide feedback and coaching to ensure team members meet their goals.
  5. Escalation Management: Effectively manage escalations, issues, and complaints, using each occasion as an opportunity to build closer ties and exceed expectations with stakeholders.
  6. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead the Daily Management System (DMS) meetings with the team and work closely with the Director on team management, metrics, efficiencies, and strategic objectives.
  7. Special Projects: Lead and participate in special projects as needed, driving business results and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  1. Education: College diploma or bachelor's degree in administration or a relevant discipline.
  2. Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in a business operations or management role, with a proven track record of leadership and process improvement.
  3. Skills: Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and promote team spirit to achieve business objectives. Proficient with data management and analysis, with the ability to communicate technical data in simple terms.
  4. Language: Advanced knowledge of English and French is required to communicate with stakeholders across Canada on a daily basis.
  5. Certifications: Canada Investment Funds/CSC and/or Operations (IFIC) Course or greater.
