Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at A&W. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for customers.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Take customers' orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
