Job Description

In Proposals:

  • You will be part of the Pursuit team, responsible for project planning, reading RFP bid documents, and understanding schedule-related contractual requirements.
  • You will create the pursuit schedule in Primavera P6, ensuring it meets EllisDon's Best Practices.

In Operations:

  • You will work with the project team to create the Baseline Schedule, adhering to EllisDon's Best Practices.
  • You will update the project schedule weekly or bi-weekly, using information provided by the project team, and report on its accuracy.
  • You will provide support to project teams by developing micro work schedules, what-if scenarios, and Time-Impact-Analysis (TIA) schedules as required.
  • You will promote proactive project management by recommending best practices in planning and scheduling.
  • You will identify potential problems or conflicts in the project schedule and assist in resolving them.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

  • You have experience working in a construction project team, preferably as a Coordinator, QA/QC, Safety, Field Engineer, etc.
  • Prior experience as a carpenter, site superintendent, project manager, project coordinator, field engineer is an asset.

Technical Skills:

  • You have a working knowledge of computer scheduling programs, including P6, MS Projects.
  • You can manage multiple project schedules simultaneously.

Communication Skills:

  • You communicate clearly and effectively, aligning with EllisDon's Values.
  • You promote collaborative problem-solving.
Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
