Senior Wealth Planning Coordinator Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wealth Planning Coordinator Specialist to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). As a key member of our wealth management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client service and supporting our Investment Counsellors in their daily operations.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to take on a senior-level position and contribute to the success of our team. As a Senior Wealth Planning Coordinator Specialist, you will be responsible for providing concierge-level service to our clients, coordinating with internal partners, and proactively looking for wealth opportunities to support the team's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for wealth planning questions and opportunities with clients
- Provide excellence in client service by responding to all client inquiries, updating client files as required, and preparing client presentation material for wealth planning meetings
- Support the team's growth strategy by proactively looking for wealth opportunities
- Prepare all annual review meeting material in advance
- Review financial plans, wills, and estate plans prior to client presentations
- Communicate effectively regarding retirement planning, rollovers, RESPs, FHSAs, TFSAs, and trusts
- Support the team and clients through the wealth management process, gathering relevant information, documents, and questionnaires, and entering data into specific applications (e.g., Salesforce/myGPS)
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners, COIs, lawyers, and accountants necessary to support the role and team in their daily operations
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A university degree
- CFP, PFP, or working towards either designation
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize urgent tasks efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A good understanding of basic tax, insurance, and estate planning strategies
