We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at David Aplin Recruiting, working as a Billing and Payroll Associate for an immediate temporary-to-hire position in Mississauga, Ontario.
About the Company:
Our client is a top employer looking for someone who can accurately and timely invoice accounts billed, as well as process payroll for company drivers and owner-operators. You will report to the Billing Supervisor and work closely with other departments to investigate and resolve customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice accounts billed accurately and on time
- Process payroll for company drivers and owner-operators
- Review and interpret sales contracts as it relates to billing
- Verify hours and enter drivers' time sheets
- Review and verification of BOLs
- Investigate driver pay questions/concerns
- Coordinate special customer billing requests
- Generate paper/electronic invoicing
- Ensure documentation matches (purchase order, packing slip, etc)
- Work closely with other departments to investigate and resolve customer inquiries
- Collaborate with internal team members and customers to develop and implement process improvements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of previous billing and/or payroll experience
- Transportation experience an asset
- AR and payroll experience an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, including experience with v-lookups
- Customer service focus and team player
Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
