Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Triple J Canada Consulting Inc. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, and managing a team of 5-10 people.

About the Role

  • Manage the preparation and submission of reports to stakeholders
  • Coordinate and assign work to team members
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments

Responsibilities

  • Schedule work and train workers in duties and policies
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments

Experience and Specialization

  • Computer and technology knowledge is essential for this role
  • Familiarity with accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook

Requirements

  • Degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance
  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
