Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dining Room Associate to join our team at Jjam Management. As a key member of our food service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and working collaboratively with our culinary team to ensure seamless meal service.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, and utensils, as well as maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Dishwashing and Storage: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and store them properly after cleaning.
  • Table Setting and Maintenance: Set tables with linens, plates, glasses, and silverware, and maintain a clean and tidy table setting throughout the meal service.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, serving meals, and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and tracking supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in food service or hospitality an asset; ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs); strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
