We are seeking a skilled Dining Service Team Member to join our team at Shiso Japanese Restaurant LTD. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

Job Summary:

The Dining Service Team Member is responsible for greeting customers, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and present menus in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or complaints in a prompt and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tables, counters, and storage areas

Requirements:

  • Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
  • Presentation bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
  • Advise on menu selections
  • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
