Job Title: Head Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at EAT BKK THAI KITCHEN (Bloor). As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Job Summary:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality of food.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal use and minimize waste.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events, menus, and promotions.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to recipes and menu specifications.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
  • Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
