At Primary Auto & Tire INC, we are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications and operating manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Your attention to detail and ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes will be essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for examining welds and ensuring that they meet standards and/or specifications, determining weldability of materials, and operating previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Additionally, you will maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
