  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.

Work Environment:

  • Attention to detail is essential for this role.
