**Note**:This position is located at our Simcoe/Norfolk Regional Campus, 634 Ireland Road, Simcoe, Ontario.

**Note**:This is a part-time temporary Faculty position (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 12, 2024 and ending December 20, 2024.**Qualifications**

**GENERAL** **QUALIFICATIONS**
- Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Excellent communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners from different backgrounds
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with various technologies
- Related industry work experience
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience (hybrid and/or online delivery) and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets

**SPECIFIC** **QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary 2-year Welding diploma and/or a Certificate of Qualification (CofQ) in Welding (456A) or Metal Fabricator - Fitter (437A) or Red Seal Welder
- Minimum 5 years’ of recent and relevant industry experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Post-secondary teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience in teaching/training in work or educational environment, including curriculum development experience, would be an asset
