Job Title: Stock Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Supervisor to join our team at SVP Sports. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our stockroom, ensuring that our merchandise is accurately inventoried and stored, and that our customers receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Stockroom Organization: Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, including shelving, bins, and storage areas.
  • Merchandise Control: Ensure that merchandise is properly received, stored, and distributed to the sales floor.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockroom staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate reports on inventory levels, stockroom operations, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or stockroom environment.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Outlook.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail store environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of temperatures.
