Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at SVP Sports. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our stockroom, ensuring that our inventory is accurately managed and that our customers receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockroom staff, ensuring that inventory is accurately counted, stored, and retrieved.
  • Stockroom Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the stockroom, including receiving and processing shipments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that all stockroom equipment is in good working order.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that customers receive their orders in a timely manner.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of stockroom staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail stockroom environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational and time management skills.
