Job Title: Carpenter - Residential Construction

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Red Star Homes Ltd. as a Residential Construction Carpenter. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install cabinets, doors, windows, stairs, and other woodwork.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty environments, and outdoors.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
