Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Senior Memory IP Product Engineer. As a key member of our technical staff, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting high-performance memory IP products across a wider range of customers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting integration, customization, and post-silicon bring-up of Cadence Memory IP subsystems
  • Helping with internal system integration and QA testing of Memory subsystem products
  • Analyzing and resolving complex subsystem application or implementation issues
  • Supporting Memory PHY and controller SOC integration reviews and integration questions
  • Performing RTL and gate-level simulations to verify functionality
  • Assisting customers with gate-level simulations and timing closure
  • Participating in the development of Cadence documentation and checklists for customers
  • Supporting post-silicon bring-up and deployment activities by our customers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of overall experience in the industry
  • Experience working with DDR5/4/3, LPDDR5/4/3, HBM3, GDDR6, or similar IPs
  • Verilog RTL design and gate-level verification experience
  • Synthesis and STA experience, back-end experience a plus
  • Familiarity with industry-standard DFT flows and test methodologies
  • Familiarity with package and board design

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with memory PHY and DSP-based architecture, embedded microcontroller FW, and M.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field would be beneficial.
