At Medha Software Solutions Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in ensuring the highest quality of software products. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure thorough testing of software applications
  • Analyze and report defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and coordinate testing efforts, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies, processes, and standards, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the team
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities, defects, and test results, providing insights and recommendations for process enhancements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, or related field; senior-level experience preferred
  • Excellent understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles
  • Proficiency in testing tools, including Eclipse, HP/UX, Linux, MS Windows, HTML, DHTML, Extranet, Internet, XML Technology (XSL,XSD,DTD), Servers, Desktop applications, Java, File management software, JavaScript, JSP, Unix, CSS, HTML editing software, Web service design, SQL, Database software, Programming languages, Software development, MS Office, Oracle, TCP/IP, Git, Hadoop, Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in fast-paced environments and under pressure
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours of work per week. You will work in a hybrid environment, with opportunities for remote work and collaboration with global teams.
