Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interior Finisher Helper to join our team at EMT Contractor Division Inc. The successful candidate will assist in various tasks related to interior finishing, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, mixing, pouring, and spreading materials, and performing routine maintenance work.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a noisy and dusty environment, with various locations and construction sites. The work setting is willing to relocate, and the candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
