Job Summary:
Onedersquad is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Relief Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Pharmacy Relief Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to our pharmacy team during staff absences, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the dispensing of medications and verify prescriptions for accuracy.
- Provide guidance to customers and answer any questions regarding prescriptions and over-the-counter products.
- Manage inventory, including receiving and stocking medications and supplies.
- Maintain record-keeping in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of Pharmacy Assistant experience, within Pharmacy or Hospital settings.
- Familiarity with Kroll software/Pharma Clik / Propel Rx will be considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to shift priorities working within established timelines.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and be willing to stand/walk for your shift is an asset.
- Ability to easily navigate basic computer software including MS Office.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Working days will vary.
