Maintenance Manager Role

  • Salary range for this position is $95,747 - $143,620 / year, based on experience


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the achievement of the unit's operational strategy by coordinating maintenance activities in collaboration with production
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and guide the maintenance team, focusing on personnel management, recruitment, development, and coaching to ensure a strong internal organization
  • Maintenance Program Enhancement: Develop and refine a comprehensive predictive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance program, and implement and maintain business processes and standard operating procedures for maintenance operations
  • Asset Management and Systems Optimization: Implement a vigorous asset management system, utilize maintenance records for evaluation and refinement, and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Occupational Health and Safety Focus: Ensure the optimal execution of operations through the attainment of occupational health and safety targets

  • Maintenance Program Enhancement: The manager is tasked with developing and refining a comprehensive predictive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance program, as well as implementing and maintaining business processes and standard operating procedures for maintenance operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial production environment, specifically in areas such as pulp and paper, water treatment, or similar
  • Maintenance Program Development: Candidates should have experience in developing and optimizing maintenance programs and schedules
  • Desirable Skills: Project management experience is desired, along with leadership and expertise in promoting team buy-in to proposed solutions
