About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Maintenance Manager to join our team at Airside. As a key member of our maintenance operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical competence of our maintenance workforce and implementing effective maintenance procedures and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical skills of our maintenance personnel
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of training and experience for our maintenance team
  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to identify and implement best practices for maintenance procedures and standards
  • Conduct analysis of faults and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure the calibration and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance planning strategies that take into account human factors and quality control
  • Monitor and report on quality defects and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with our Safety Management System and respond to AOGs
  • Collaborate with our CAMO Manager and Quality Manager to identify trends and implement improvements

Requirements:

  • Technical studies in Aviation or a related field
  • Substantial experience in line and base maintenance, including supervisory experience
  • EASA Part-66 Licence Cat. B1.3 and Cat. C
  • Excellent leadership and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRO software
