Nodo Restaurant Seeks Experienced Chef for Permanent Position

We are looking for a skilled and experienced chef to join our team as an executive chef. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting, with excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and handling, as well as training staff and maintaining inventory and records.
  • You will be working in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads and repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Overtime may be required, particularly during peak periods.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Expertise: As an expert in Italian cuisine, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality dishes to customers.
  • Kitchen Management: You will oversee kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Client Focus: Providing excellent customer service is essential in this role, ensuring that customers receive a positive dining experience.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Qualifications: Secondary school graduation and excellent oral communication skills.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, knowledge of kitchen safety protocols, and ability to work well under pressure.
