Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of environmental plans and strategies for complex transportation projects
- Manage environmental permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with transportation planning, engineering, and urban design teams to deliver integrated projects
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with government agencies and stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members on technical and professional issues
- Perform quality reviews of deliverables to ensure high-quality products are produced on time and budget
- Prepare for and conduct public and agency involvement activities
- 20 or more years of experience in environmental planning roles, with a focus on transportation projects
- Appropriate degrees in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or Engineering
- Mastery of Microsoft 365 products to perform assigned tasks
- ESRI ArcGIS skills preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
