About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare and Social Services Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, residences, or group homes
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties
  • Administer medications and provide basic first aid
  • Monitor clients' health and well-being, and report any concerns to supervisors
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
  • Diploma in Assistance to Persons in Establishments and at Home (APED) or Assistance to Persons at Home (APD)
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job
