Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Services Professional to join our team at CIUSSS de l'Estrie-CHUS. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing support to clients with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs.
  • Assess client eligibility for specific services and develop rehabilitation programs tailored to their requirements.
  • Implement life skills workshops and provide individual and group counselling sessions to support clients' personal and social development.
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including group homes, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres, and government departments. They will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in social services or a related field is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
