The Senior Linear Accelerator Service Technologist is a key member of the Health PEI team, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of radiotherapy and associated medical equipment at the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Perform or facilitate repairs and preventative maintenance of linear accelerators and related equipment.
- Acquire and manage spare and replacement parts to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong technical knowledge of linear accelerators and radiation therapy equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
