Job Summary

The Senior Linear Accelerator Service Technologist is a key member of the Health PEI team, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of radiotherapy and associated medical equipment at the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform or facilitate repairs and preventative maintenance of linear accelerators and related equipment.
  • Acquire and manage spare and replacement parts to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong technical knowledge of linear accelerators and radiation therapy equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
