Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, youth employment, and Indigenous people
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
