Job Summary

This role will report to the General Manager and be responsible for overseeing quality systems to support customer requirements, certifications, and the further development of an established lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and oversight to the lab technicians.
  • Monitor customer performance and address any issues accordingly.
  • Manage the quality management system (QMS) to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification.
  • Manage the QMS to help maintain Green Circle certification.
  • Take the lead role in getting the plant ready for and achieving IATF certification.
  • Take a lead role in the implementation of a laboratory process audit (LPA) system.
  • Manage all internal audits and take a lead role in maintaining compliance.
  • Act as part of the Management Team to continually enhance the company's performance.
  • Support and contribute to the Safety, Quality, & Environmental System Requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience in the plastics industry, with recycling experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF standards.
  • Experience in auditing and lead auditing.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a quality environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience dealing with customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High level of time management.
