Senior Project Manager - Mining Operations

We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our mining operations team. As a key member of our global team, you'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the integration of all work packages and disciplines within the project. Your expertise in project management, technical direction, stakeholder management, and communication will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of our client initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams from various disciplines to deliver projects on schedule and budget
  • Manage change in scope, schedule, risks, and costs against the project baseline
  • Develop and provide project status updates, budgetary information, and remediation plans as necessary
  • Support the execution of the tender to award process and data review for procurement and contract packages
  • Proven understanding of project controls systems and cost control practices

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of project management experience, including leading large and complex projects
  • Proven engineering expertise and competency in mining projects and associated facilities
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage project teams
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
