Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Tandel Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the upkeep of our facilities, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, and other high-touch areas, as well as clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Facilities Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, operate industrial vacuum cleaners, and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks, and report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English or French
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
