Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Robotic Systems:
    • Build and program robots that can operate autonomously or semi-autonomously in real-world environments.
    • Develop control systems and algorithms that enable robots to move, manipulate objects, and interact with their surroundings.
    • Integrate various sensors and actuators into robotic systems to ensure precise and reliable robotic actions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with software developers, mechanical engineers, and data scientists to design and integrate robotic systems into larger applications.
    • Ensure that robotic solutions align with product requirements and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Prototype, Test, and Optimize:
    • Prototype robotic systems and conduct rigorous testing to evaluate performance, safety, and reliability.
    • Iterate on designs and algorithms to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of robotic systems in real-world applications.
Requirements:
  • Robotics Engineering Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and mechatronics.
    • Experience in designing robotic systems from the ground up.
  • Programming and Simulation Tools:
    • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, and MATLAB.
    • Experience using robotic frameworks such as ROS (Robot Operating System) and simulation tools like Gazebo or V-REP.
  • Autonomous Systems Knowledge:
    • Expertise in autonomous navigation, SLAM, and path planning algorithms.
    • Experience with robotic perception and decision-making in dynamic environments.
  • Sensors and Actuators:
    • Hands-on experience working with sensors (e.g., LIDAR, cameras, IMUs) and actuators (e.g., motors, servos, and hydraulic systems).
    • Understanding of how to integrate and calibrate sensors for accurate robotic control.
