**Job Description:**
  • To assist with developing Baylis Med Tech's portfolio of exciting and innovative products, focusing on the conception and development of novel devices for minimally invasive procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work on all elements of the Research & Development of novel minimally invasive devices, from concept generation through to commercialization.
  2. Support the development of intellectual property within the company.
  3. Support Research and Development sustaining activities as they arise on commercial production lines.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of related experience in engineering
  • Experience working in medical devices with focus on product development
  • Excellent aptitude for mechanical engineering design
  • Strong hypothesis-driven experimental design and statistical analysis skills
  • Ability to independently develop and adapt work plans based on vague or changing project goals
  • Strong interest in biomedical technology
  • Dynamic, flexible approach to work with a results-oriented attitude
  • Candidates must possess previous experience with the development of single use medical devices such as catheters, sheaths, guidewires, dilators, or balloon catheters.

About You: The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree with a focus in Mechanical Engineering and have an understanding of design for manufacture of medical devices.
