Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with mealtime and snacks
- Participate in recreational activities and outings
- Assist with medication administration and documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Continuing Care Assistant Certification
- Health Care Aide Certificate
- Criminal record check
- Child Abuse Registry check
- Vulnerable sector check
- Adult Abuse Registry check
The Continuing Care Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to residents in a rural area, specifically in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.
