Job Overview

Aramark is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Biomedical Waste Management Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our customers by ensuring the proper disposal of biomedical waste.

About the Role

This is an overnight position that requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail. As a Biomedical Waste Management Specialist, you will be responsible for adhering to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
  • Accurately maintain and clean housekeeping equipment
  • Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
  • Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
  • Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
  • Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
  • Ensure security of company assets

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Previous custodial experience preferred
  • Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
  • Adaptable to guests' needs

Salary and Benefits
