Real Estate Transformation Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Transformation Project Manager to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. This is a full-time, contract position based in Toronto, Canada.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will lead the project delivery of a key Corporate Real Estate outsourcing strategy initiative (Project Everest). This major transformational initiative involves the future outsourced services model for transaction management and real estate services performed by third parties under long-term master services agreements managed by CRE.
This role will partner with the Global Transformation Team, CRE Leadership, functional partners, and other leaders across RBC to identify project-related activities, manage stakeholder relationships, and activate the project plan. The role will ensure governance throughout the project aligns with the RBC framework and within approved scope, schedule, and budget while minimizing service disruption to business partners and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior project management expertise and direction to support project planning, including strategic planning, stakeholder management, and the identification of critical activities.
- Influence and align project outcomes to optimize benefits and reduce risks throughout the project.
- Accountable for the delivery of all end-to-end project plan activities.
- Manage all project controls to ensure effective governance, including project documentation.
- Lead integration of various workstreams, driving alignment across internal CRE teams, Service Providers, and with key functional partners where applicable.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An undergraduate degree coupled with 8+ years of demonstrated experience in complex projects with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.
- Excellent leadership, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Projects or Planview; ability to conduct project in accordance with standard project management discipline, consistently following RBC's Enterprise Initiative Management Framework.
- A bias for action, demonstrating agility and decisiveness with prior experience working in fast-paced deadline-sensitive environments.
- Extensive problem-solving skills and solution mindset with attention to detail, curiosity, and a passion for innovative and creative solutions.
