Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of our corporate real estate assets. As a key member of our team, you will drive revenue growth through lease and real estate development, analyze property performance, manage leases and landlord/tenant relationships, and implement strategies to enhance asset value.

This role involves managing and optimizing our portfolio of owned real estate and water lot assets across multiple business units. You will be responsible for property management, commercial leasing, lease renewals/extensions and real estate development. You will work cross functionally to create, implement and manage guidelines, policies, procedures and processes related to real estate/property management, condition assessments, risk assessments, life cycle costing, financial analysis, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting, negotiating, managing and tracking leases, lease amendments, extensions/renewals and other real estate related documents, agreements and activities.
  • Managing and supervising of tenanted and vacant property portfolio including required appraisals, lease renewals, disposition or leasing of vacant sites, property management and site maintenance issues all with a view to improve the value of and the returns for these assets.
  • Acquisition and disposition of real estate assets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum seven to ten years of direct real estate development/commercial leasing and property/asset management experience. You should have a strong understanding of property valuation process and principles, and their application in order to negotiate renewal terms and rents. You will also need to possess applied real estate principles and development principles, legal drafting skills, and superior interpersonal skills.

You should be able to interact with all levels in a professional, positive manner, build trusting relationships and be a team player. Confidence, flexibility and diplomacy in dealing with clients and stakeholders are essential. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary, as well as the ability to influence, collaborate and negotiate cross functionally and with external stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
