Nurse Practitioner

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Floral Long Term Care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Medication Management: Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and report any adverse reactions or concerns to physicians.
- Communication and Education: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and provide education on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary committees, contribute to policy development, and demonstrate leadership skills in guiding nursing shifts and delegating tasks.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes, and report any concerns or incidents to supervisors.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Experience: Nursing experience with acquired clinical competence and strong leadership skills
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records
