At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team at 3 Bridges Primary Care Clinic.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of approximately $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Family Physician to provide high-quality primary care services to patients in need. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical services to patients who present or are referred for their medical care.
- Foster a collaborative inter-professional practice environment that enhances client-centered services within the associated clinics/sites/programs.
- Work within a self-directed team of physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to achieve excellence in client-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve client outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License – Full/Provisional.
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory.
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) designation or eligibility - Mandatory.
Please note that applicants must also meet the requirements for a faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia School of Medicine and hold a current Opiate Agonist Treatment prescriber exemption or be willing to obtain one.
