About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Financial Systems team at CAE Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business process improvements and system enhancements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing business process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  2. Managing and maintaining documentation for various projects and processes
  3. Leading assessments of options for process and system improvements
  4. Identifying and communicating with key stakeholders, including follow-ups
  5. Liaising between business departments and groups, representing the financial systems team
  6. Creating and implementing management plans and presentations for projects/enhancements, with a focus on transparent communication
  7. Gathering, reviewing, and analyzing business and industry data, including KPIs and financial reports

Our ideal candidate has:

  1. Experience working within ERP, FP&A, and consolidation systems
  2. A degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or a related field
  3. Accounting knowledge and experience
  4. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  5. Excellent business analysis skills to convert user needs into clear system requirements
  6. Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies and process improvements
  7. Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills
  8. Experience testing and mapping business processes and protocols, and making links between systems, tools, and processes
  9. Proven analytical abilities and ease with Excel to make sense of large volumes of data
  10. Proactive individual with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure
  11. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
  12. Openness to learning and understanding new technology and systems

Good assets:

  1. Specific experience with Oracle/Hyperion environment (Oracle 11/12/Cloud, HFM, PBCS, FDM/FDMEE)
  2. Superior knowledge of Excel
  3. Communication skills in French, both written and spoken
