About the Role

Big Rock Brewery is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our brewery equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct repairs and troubleshooting on brewery equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Inspect and test equipment to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues and improve production processes.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed to complete tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Millwright license or Red Seal Journeyman certification.
  • Post-secondary or vocational training in a related field is an asset.
  • Fall Arrest Protection and Confined Space Training are considered assets.
  • First Aid certification is also an asset.
