Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
Mainstreet Equity Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks within our residential multi-family settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general handyman duties, including minor plumbing, electrical repairs, and maintenance.
- Inspect and maintain boilers, HVAC systems, and other equipment.
- Conduct general carpentry, installation of blinds, fixing doors, locks, cabinets, drywall, tiling, and painting.
- Be available for on-call duties on a rotating schedule to address problems that occur after hours and/or weekends.
- Manage tenants' maintenance requests, ensuring proper follow-up and completion.
- Complete maintenance checklists for unoccupied suites.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of general handyman work experience, including maintenance in apartments, hotels, or hospitality.
- Experience in minor plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, drywall, soldering, and troubleshooting of appliances.
- Flexible to work regular hours and on-call duties/weekends/after-hour emergencies on a rotation basis.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
- Successful completion of a security clearance.
