Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Calgary. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes, valves, VFDs, chain drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and small motors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment
  • Conduct inspections, address equipment failures, and ensure equipment is safe and operational
  • Use CMMS to track and document maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with internal protocols
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics for precise assembly, alignment, and integration of machinery
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment, coordinating with vendors and internal teams
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records, prepare reports, and communicate repair status to minimize production disruptions
  • Uphold safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong mechanical background with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams to maximize machine uptime and support continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
