Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum (depending on experience) + benefits.

Job Description

Lead and Mentor: As an Associate Director, you will lead and mentor a team of M&E cost management professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality M&E cost management services to our clients.

New Business Opportunities: You will develop new business opportunities with existing and potential Turner & Townsend clients, identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities.

Proposal Development: You will lead proposals for new work or variations for existing commissions, working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Networking and Promotional Activities: You will attend relevant networking events and promotional opportunities, representing Turner & Townsend and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Staff Management: You will participate in staff management, including recruitment interviews and performance reviews, helping to develop and grow the skills and expertise of your team.

Financial Management: You will oversee financial management, utilizing tools to track margin levels and maintain monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commission.

End-to-End Cost Management: You will deliver a high-quality end-to-end cost management service, including the production of cost estimates in the CIQS and Uniformat (Class D through Class A), value management, procurement advice and support, tender analysis, payment certification, and change management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and estimating, with a focus on M&E systems.
  • A recognized university degree.
  • Certification in relevant professional organizations (PQS or MRICS).
  • The ability to quickly obtain Government of Canada security clearance (minimum Reliability Level).
  • Relevant experience in providing end-to-end cost management.
  • Strong capability in quality assurance for deliverables.
