We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced horticulturist to oversee the maintenance and development of our private estate.

Job Summary: As Estate Horticulture Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our property remains beautiful and well-manicured throughout the year. The successful candidate will have expertise in implementing seasonal garden plans and preparing soil for spring and fall planting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement seasonal gardening projects
  • Maintain gardens and properties through regular cleaning and trimming
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager on various tasks and projects
  • Manage tree and forest care, including pruning and removal of dead trees
  • Perform grounds keeping duties, such as blowing leaves and power washing

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in landscaping and gardening is essential
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
  • Experience operating small machinery, such as tractors and ATVs, is an asset
  • Familiarity with chainsaws and pole saws is also beneficial

The estimated salary for this role is $72,500 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position offers a 6-month contract with potential for long-term employment. Please submit your resume for consideration.
