Bala, Canada Estate Manager Full time

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our Estate Management team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and development of our private estate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and appreciates a long-term career path. As part of our team, you will have the chance to work on a wide range of tasks and projects, from maintaining the grounds to troubleshooting and repairing various systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain the upkeep and repair of interior and exterior housing functions and infrastructure, including HVAC, appliances, plumbing, lighting, water supply, generators, and septic tanks.
  • Service and troubleshoot equipment and machinery, updating new equipment as necessary.
  • Respond to service requests made by the principals and Property Manager.
  • Assist with property maintenance, lawn care, and gardening.
  • Manage organized and detailed property and equipment service and maintenance logs.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Prior experience in general contracting or a qualified skilled trade.
  • Able to perform physical and technical tasks that require strength, coordination, and dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work weekends.
  • Must have a driver's license and personal transportation.
  • Experience with preventative and routine maintenance on small equipment and machinery an asset.
