Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team at Tim Horton's. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. The successful candidate will also have excellent oral communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and initiative.
Benefits

As a Food Service Supervisor at Tim Horton's, you will enjoy a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment. Additional Information

This is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week. Work language is English, and we recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster. We also offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
