Job Title: Transport Operations Supervisor

Overview:
As a key member of our team at Red River Transport, the Transport Operations Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day activities of our transportation operations. This includes supervising workers and projects, monitoring and operating signal and track switch control panels, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Languages:
English

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years

Work Environment:
On site

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise workers and projects
  • Train or arrange for training
  • Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panel
  • Coordinate and schedule activities
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies


Requirements:

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
