Bevertec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Server and Network Specialist to join our team in Yellowknife, NWT.

This role provides critical operational support by monitoring and managing server hosting, storage, and network infrastructure to meet the demanding performance requirements of all departments.

The Major Responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership in server and network infrastructure support, maintenance, and implementation.
  • Supporting and implementing security administration procedures to secure server and storage systems for all users within and outside the network.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues in coordination with relevant teams.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $85,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This includes a base salary and a Northern Living Allowance of $3,700 per year.

As a Senior Server and Network Specialist, you will be responsible for the analysis, planning, maintenance, and improvement of server hosting, storage, and network infrastructure. You will also assist in preparing reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The working hours for this role are 7.5 hours per day with some flexibility, and overtime is paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for Saturday work and 2.0 times the regular hourly rate for Sunday work.
