Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen helpers.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient service delivery.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to meet customer expectations.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Accurately record and maintain records of sales, inventory, and other relevant data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in food service management or a related field is an asset.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable and subject to a criminal record check.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness.
